Maddie Turns 2

Maddie got an early birthday present from Nana & Papa! She was so excited to have a sand box to play in with all her toys. She tells you, "sit down, socks and shoes." She loves to put her feet in the sand. It is giving us lots of fun memories!

Maddie turned 2 on May 14! We began the birthday celebration on her actual birthday by going to La Hacienda with Rae and Andrew. It was so fun and wonderful to sit outside and listen to music. She got an adorable doll that can go in the bathtub with her. It even has a hooded towel and booties. She loves to take a bath with her doll from Rae Rae and Andrew.

We gave her a little diaper bag that was filled with little baby things. Now she can really play mommy with her baby.

Maddie had her birthday party on that Saturday and it was a "beach/ summer themed" party BUT the rain came too soon. We moved the party inside and still had a great time with a few adjustments. She didn't know the difference and loved opening her presents this year and she went around hugged each person too. It was so cute!

Mimi and Opa gave her this cute table which is in our kitchen so she can sit and eat supper there and have a tea party!
The girls played in Maddie's room with the dollhouse since we couldn't go swimming outside.
Yes, we bought a pinata......Maddie wasn't quite sure about it and kept saying "its a mess" when the pinata was breaking apart. She was wanting to go vacuum it up with her little vacuum.

The Shreveport gang got Maddie her little car! She screamed and screamed when she saw it in her living room. She gets in it and drives around the house and says, "i be right back!"

Putting makeup on Aunt Rae Rae while we were waiting for supper.
Maddie's final present was a surprise to us because Andrew went ALL OUT and got her True Religion jeans. Yes, the kind her daddy wears so now she is really a rock star baby!
