Maddie is Growing....

Maddie is growing so much each day. I see her each day and i can see such a difference in her little personality developing and all the new faces she is learning to make. Maddie is beginning to smile, make noises and hold her head up more. Maddie can push herself up on her arms and look around the room. She is fascinated with lights and fans. She will stare at the light or fan for minutes. We found a new toy that has blinking lights and plays a song. We hold it up for her to see and she just smiles and cooes.
She will be eight weeks on monday. Time is flying by......

Our sweet baby girl and her big blue eyes!

Momma, Maddie and Nana rode in the Rickshaw down to Daddy's concert in Houston on the 4th of July. I was a little apprehensive about riding in this but...it was fun and Maddie slept right through the whole ride. I just held onto her very tightly! She is our precious cargo.

Here we are on the tour bus with Maddie after the concert. She loves to hang out on the bus with her uncles. A little band baby!

The Randy Rogers Band opened for Montgomery Gentry and they were broadcasted live on channel 13-ABC. It was amazing to see all the people. But to say the least, i fell going up the stairs backstage. I had to report to EMS to get ice and bandaged up. I created two big bruises on my shins and one on my arm. So....i missed the live perfomance of them on TV but i am okay. Then we went to the top of the Shell Plaza to watch the largest fireworks show ever.

Today, Aunt Renee and Meredith came over to see Maddie and they couldn't believe how much she has grown in the last month. While they were over, Maddie got hungry so Meredith gave her a bottle. She looks pretty natural holding and feeding Maddie.

Maddie loves to lay on her changing table and stretch out so we gave her some of her new toys to look at. She smiled at her bumble bee yesterday....it was so cute.

Maddie loves to read her new books. This one has faces of mommas and their babies. I want to frame this picture and put it in my classroom to show my students that Maddie loves to read too.
Madeline is such a blessing to our family and we spend hours of the day just watching her sleep or holding her. She has consumed all of our lives and we love every minute of it.
