Maddie's Trip to Houston

Maddie went on her first long car ride trip to Houston. Mom rode with me to Houston which was nice because Maddie was fussy. We think she had a tummy ache. We stayed in The Woodlands for the week and we went shopping, out to eat, and visited with family friends. Mom spoiled us while we were there. She took care of Maddie in the morning so i could sleep. She bathed her, dressed her and loved on her the whole week. It was wonderful.

Maddie got to meet Uncle Parker and he sniffed her a lot. He didn't know what to think of this little person who was staying at his house.

Aunt Rae Rae, Buddy, Maddie and Nana are posing for the family portrait at Nana's house. Maddie was very tired after her trip in the car. She has such a big yawn for a little girl.

Maddie was one month old when this was taken. I can't believe how much she has grown and changed. She looks so stinkin' cute in this little outfit with her pink bow. She didn't seem to mind the bow which is a good thing.

Papa was traveling all week and finally made it home to hold Maddie. He looks pretty happy holding his granddaughter and Maddie has her hand up to tell Momma that she has had enough of the pictures. We can't help but take pictures of her.

It's nice to have grandparents around to let you sleep and help to love on the little ones! Grammie just left our house and we now have clean clothes!!!

I'm sure it was nice to be home and have Nana help out. Next time you're in town, we'll have to come meet Maddie!
