Maddie had her 18 month check up on Friday. She is doing great according to the doctor with all her developmental stages. She is sleeping through the night ( of course), no bottles, talking a lot, following commands, and feeding herself. We just need to work on getting the pippy. She loves her pippy so this will be hard.

She is weighing only 20 lbs. 4 oz. She is still in the low area for her weight but she has always been small and petite.

The pictures below are from the last few weeks of our busy lives. We had Thanksgiving at our house this year because Rae had to work so that was a treat to have our family here. We ate then decorated my whole house for Christmas, then we went to a Randy Rogers Band show which was awesome! Les turned 33 too right before Thanksgiving so it has been a fun and busy time for us.

We hope you are having a great Holiday Season and we wish you a Merry Christmas!

Les was teaching her that she had pockets and teaching her to put her hands in them. It was so cute!

Daddy and Maddie on his birthday. She is really starting to like opening presents.

Maddie loves to help in the kitchen with whatever you are doing, so she was helping Nana put all the rolls on the cookie sheet.

Happy Thanksgiving Day!

Maddie found her new way to stand so she can see what is going on in the kitchen.

Aunt Rae Rae and Nana are tempting Maddie with the yummy food.

Maddie was enjoying her Thanksgiving Lunch.

Our little family!

Oh, Nana....

Maddie was enjoying the DJ music before our guys went on stage.

Uncle Randy is showing Maddie that the guitar is cool too because she LOVES the drums!

We tried to put Maddie on the New Braunfels version of a train but she had nothing to do with it. Oh well....

Maddie and I went Christmas shopping at La Cantera but before shopping we had some supper. Then she played with the light in her darlin' little reindeer outfit from Nana!

It was a great day of shopping just moo and me. We were very successful and ready to head home! She is such a fun shopper which could be dangerous when she is a little older!!!

Halloween!!!

Well, Halloween with Maddie was a blast this year because she was able to walk and enjoy it. She had fun and i just loved her little bumblebee outfit. Aunt Rae Rae came over to join us and she took most of these pictures for us too. We loaded up the wagon and headed out with our neighbors in a group of about 10. We walked around the neighborhood and took so many pictures of our kids we looked like the paparazzi. Oh well.... but the only issue with this post is that my new computer post the pictures in a different order than i want. So, they are backwards in the order they happened. Sorry but we hope you still enjoy looking at Maddie's 2nd Halloween!

The perfect end to a fun night, she fell asleep on the walk back to our house. She didn't even cry. We just looked back and she was holding and fast asleep in her wagon.

Maddie didn't like this bowl because the hand moved and it kinda scared her.

Trick or treating!

Maddie and Gavin going to their first house on the trick or treating adventure.

Maddie wasn't too sure of what to do.....

This is how we rolled on Halloween night. We got a group of us neighbors with all the kids and started walking. It was so much fun. I think the adults enjoyed it more!

Our little bumblebee!

Maddie got this pumpkins at the pumpkin patch and painted them at school. She was so excited to take them home.

We are the second grade teachers and this is us on Halloween at Arlon Seay. We look good right?

This was last weekend at Nana & Papa's house. Don't you just love those big pumpkins?

So Funny...

Maddie just put her pink bucket on her head and kept walking around the house laughing.

Then, she took the tupperware bowl and did the same thing. She thought she was so funny. Les and I were histerical.

Maddie put the bowl on my head and one on her head. She is our cheap entertainment!!

Daddy got the bucket on his head too. He kept saying we are "bucket heads." I promise that there was NO wine consumed on this crazy night. Hahaha!!!

Music Baby

Maddie loves to go out and listen to music. I know it sounds silly because she just a little toddler but, she loves music. We have music on all the time at home and in the car plus look who her daddy is. Luckily, where we live there is so much live music on every day of the week so sometimes we head out to dance and relax. Look at our little music baby!

Maddie is out dancing at Gruene Hall, her favorite place to dance!

Just chillin' and being happy at Adobe Verde while listening to a local band play.

Nana is holding Maddie up to see Zack playing.

Gemaw and Gepaw's visit

Gemaw and Gepaw came down to visit us last week and stayed for a few days. They wanted to spend some time with Maddie and of course Rae and Me too. They brought lots of yummy food and Gemaw baked cookies. They watched Maddie while i went to work for two days and they had a great time with her. They took her outside on the deck then played doll house in her room. She kept them very busy but they loved every minute of it. I got to hear about it each day when i got home from work. Gepaw took Maddie walking each day in her stroller and in fact she still wants to go on walks each day when we get home from school. I think Gepaw spoiled her a little...hehe.

Here is Maddie after enjoying her supper in which she "dip" in the ketchup. Yeah...she loves to dip her food.
Gemaw celebrated 30 years with Mary Kay while she was visiting us. All of the family went in and got her a beautiful Pandora bracelet. Congratulations!Gemaw and Gepaw reading with Maddie before she heads to bed. Gemaw was helping Aunt Rae Rae give Maddie a bubble bath.

Maddie was enjoying Gemaw's good casserole. She is eating so good with her little spoon too!
